The Indian festive season is just around the corner and all the automobile manufacturers are trying to roll out new products and special editions of their popular models to attract the customers to their dealerships. TVS Motors has rolled out new variants of the Phoenix and Apache RTR 160. Both these models endorse cosmetic upgrades and are expected to play a very important in helping the company to cash in from the festive season.
Talking about the Apache RTR 160, it will be offered in 5 single tone color schemes namely black, white, red, yellow and titanium grey and it also gets body graphics. Coming to the daily commuter 125 cc bike, Phoenix, it will be offered with an Alpine white color scheme and body graphics.
As mentioned, the bikes are upgraded cosmetically and therefore the mechanicals remain unchanged. The Apache RTR 160 will continue to be powered by a single cylinder 160 cc engine which is capable of churning out a power of 15.2 PS and a peak torque of 13.1 Nm. The Phoenix will be carrying the same 125 cc engine which is capable of churning out a power of 11 PS and a peak torque of 10.8 Nm.
It will not be a surprise for companies to offer various schemes and offers as well to lure the customers. This part of the year is beneficial for both the buyers as well as the manufacturers. The buyers get a huge variety to choose from while the manufacturers benefit from the increased buying power.
