Moto Guzzi, the very popular Italian bike maker has launched the Bellagio motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market at a price of Rs. 15.2 lakhs.
Moto Guzzi Bellagio gets powered with a 935cc Air-cooled, 4-stroke, V-twin engine developing a peak power of 75 bhp at 7200 rpm along with a maximum torque measure of 78 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine has been coupled with a six-speed manual transmission to shift the power to the rear wheels.
The Bellagio bike has got a very sturdy high tensile steel tubular frame work and gets its weight measured around 224 kg. Thus, it delivers an eminent power to rate ratio. Moto Guzzi has equipped the the motorcycle with a 320mm Double Disc Front brake accompanied by a 282mm Single Disc Rear Brake. The touring bike has got a fuel tank capacity of 19 litres to offer its rider a long travel range.
Moto Guzzi is a division of the well-known manufacturer Piaggio and by rolling out the Bellagio, it has increased its two-wheeler arena for the Indian market which presently had only the Greso 1200 8V bike, launched in the country last year.
The booking are open for the Moto Guzzi Bellagio bike at the Northwards Motors dealership, which is the Italian manufacturer’s only outlet in the country. The Bellagio initially will only be available with a black colour option in india along with a waiting period stretched to around six weeks for the buyers.
Moto Guzzi after its arrival in India in the month of December, 2012 has received satisfactory response from the Indian biking freaks. Thus, by rolling out the Bellagio now the company has planned to offer a stiff competition to the Ducati Streetfighter and various Harley Davidson bikes in the Indian market.
