Kawasaki Bajaj has sent out invites to the press for an event to be held on the 4th of September 2013. There is no mention of the new bike that they will be launching but as far as our knowledge goes, it could be the all new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10. The Japanese automaker is looking to bring its litre class bike into India and the Ninja ZX 10R would be coming to India through the Completely Built Unit route. This means that the bike will carry a high price tag and it is expected that the bike would be sold in India for around Rs. 20 lakhs, on the road price in Mumbai.
Another factor to be considered here is that Bajaj Auto will not be selling this bike through all the KTM showrooms across the country and will only retail this bike through a few select pro-biking showrooms. Ninja ZX-10R would be sold in Maharashtra through the company’s own showroom in Pune and it has been revealed that the showroom has already got five bookings for this costly vehicle.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R would be coming out with a 998cc, inline four liquid cooled engine that will offer you a maximum power of 194 BHP and a twisting force of 112 Nm. The best part about the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is that it will travel from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds and the top speed limit for this new bike is 300 kmph.
